Search the IDX
When first viewed the MLS Search screen shows only the Property Type Selection Box. Once a Property Type is selected, the system finds all of the locations (Cities) which have listings and displays them in a second selection box. To the right of the location, the number of properties for the selected property type is displayed. Selecting the desired location, opens a third selection box which displays price ranges and the number of properties in each price range. Selecting a price range and pressing the search button will display the properties. The listings will be displayed by MLS number in descending order. This will normally result in the newest listings showing up first. Since all searches are completed "dynamically" your searches should never come up empty.
Searching By MLS
Number Many offices will display the MLS number for properties in their print advertising. You can quickly locate the property by entering the number in the box located in the upper right corner of the home page.
Key Word Search
The Key Word Search option allows you to search for properties by some key words that have been entered in the remarks field. Searching by key word is somewhat problematic. Take for example the word downtown: The word may be used in the context that the property is actually located in the downtown area of the community or it may be 10 miles from "downtown." Key word searches are sorted first by city and then by price.
